Well, I DID create something everyday for the past year...with one exception:  I didn't do anything on May 24th -- but I forgive that day.  That was a sad day.  :(

I did start a brand new shiny "Create Something Everyday for a Year" project today (July 1st).  I'm not sure if I want to define the focus of it any more than that, but I do know that I want to record more of my progress more here, along with in-progress pics.  I have lots of posts I need/want to catch up on, quite a few completed items to post on Etsy, and LOTS of blog posts to catch up on.

It's been a very busy beginning of the summer...the 2nd half should be less busy with more time to spend on blogging, posting, etc.    ;)

I wanted to let my family, friends and especially my Mooseheart Family know that my sweet little Mom passed away this evening at 7pm.

Mom & Heather - 2008
The nurses and staff at Moosehaven and the Hospice people of NE Florida were wonderful -- my Mom was peaceful and she wasn't in any pain. She was 91 years young.

I know how much she loved her family and all of her 'kids' at Mooseheart...

Thanks Everyone for all the calls and emails.  It's nice to know my Mom was loved.

Love,
~Heather

I'm still out here...

Yep.  I'm still here.  (I just suck at blogging!  ;)  For those checking in, I AM still on track for completing something every day for a year!  10 weeks to go...and I haven't missed a day yet.

I've been busy updating my stores (yet again - AUUUGH!)  I decided to put all my creations in my Etsy store and all of my 'destashed' supplies in my ArtFire store.

Is 'anal-retentive' hyphenated?  He-he-heh...

Off to photograph lots o' stuff now.  More soon!

Testing -- blogging from my new cell phone/number...

GRRRRR....  My computer monitor died a few days ago and of course, that totally knocked me out of commission.  I have a loaner monitor now so hopefully 'll be able to get some work done.  I wasn't quite able to make it in time for Black Monday -- but I was able to take advantage of a good online sale on my favorite felting yarn.   (I'm not crazy enough to venture out on the Friday after Thanksgiving!)

Oh, yes -- these supplies are for 2 custom orders that I'm working on.  :)  I have a booth/table at the Danville Art League's Holiday Shoppe (in Danville, IL).  Check back -- I'll post some pictures here soon:

Thanks for all your support!  It means the world to me!
